Deposit and Release Information

In order to secure the date for your hunting trip, simply call or contact us by telephone or email to book a hunt, pay and confirm your hunting trip. Your hunt will not be considered “booked” until the ranch receives your payment by check or money order. You will also need to fill out the Release of Liability Form by clicking on the link to download, and you must sign and execute the release before a Notary Public, State of Texas, and mail it, to:

NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES WITHOUT PROVIDING THE RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM BEING PROPERLY FILLED OUT AND EXECUTED BEFORE A NOTARY PUBLIC, IN AND FOR THE STATE OF TEXAS, TO THE RANCH.

Location

Los Orcones Ranch is located in Duval County, Texas, an area renowned for its quality and quantity of superb whitetail deer, and other types of game hunting as well. The Ranch is about 5 miles South of Benavides, Texas, off of State HWY 339, on the East side of the road. It is in the Heart of true South Texas whitetail deer brush country.

The Ranch is 85 miles East of Corpus Christi, Texas 85 miles West of Laredo, Texas 85 miles North of Edinburg, Texas and 150 miles South of San Antonio, Texas and can be reached by any of the three airports in the region (Corpus, Laredo or San Antonio.)

Directions & Map

From Benavides, Texas take State Hwy 339 South, 5 miles South towards Concepcion/Falfurrias. The Ranch entrance is on the left, or East side of Hwy 339.

Area Weather

Weather extremes during hunting season average from lows in the 20s to highs in the 80s. While temperatures can occasionally dip below freezing, moderate weather conditions are expected during the winter months.

October tends to average the most rainfall (3.15″) and November, December, January and February are usually the driest averaging around 1″.
